Arrival
By car
Over the Reschenpass: Follow the Stilfser-Joch road (SS 38) through the Vinschgau valley to the village of Töll. After the hydroelectric power station, turn left towards Algund onto the Alte Landstrasse. After about 3 kilometres you will find us on the right-hand side.
Via the Brenner motorway: Leave the motorway at the exit Bozen-Süd and take the MEBO motorway in the direction of Merano. Follow this road until you reach the Algund exit (last exit on the motorway). At the exit, turn right onto Joseph-Weingartner-Strasse. Follow this to the crossroads by the pharmacy. Here you turn left onto Peter Thalguterstrasse and after 500 metres turn right onto Alte Landstrasse. After about 100 metres you will find us on the right-hand side.
By bus
From Munich: The Meraner Land Express from Munich ZOB takes you directly to Algund and back every Wednesday and Saturday between 11 March and 11 November 2023.
From Switzerland: The Südtirol-Express runs every Saturday from 1 April to 28 October 2023 from St. Gallen, Wängi, Winterthur, Zurich and Landquart to Algund and back.
By train
South Tyrol is easily accessible by train from Germany as well as from Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Bus line 213 takes you from Merano's main railway station to Algund in just a few minutes.
By plane
South Tyrol's regional airport is located in Bozen, about a 30-minute drive from Algund. SkyAlps flies weekly from Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Berlin directly to Bozen. There are also flights from Germany to Innsbruck. With the Südtirol Bus you can easily reach Algund from the airports in Munich, Innsbruck, Venice, Treviso, Verona, Bergamo, Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa.
